Discover Bergerac City Centre In 1946

Following last week article about the new and improved Carmes St (https://goo.gl/9CXVkG), I could not help sharing with you a photo of this part of Bergerac dated back to 1946.
73 years ago, the town had 2 cinemas (The Cyrano and the Odeon) and a park next to it ("Jardin Public")

The Cinema Cyrano, is still there today in the same spot (building on your left), the other one, the Odeon, (on your right) closed down in the 60'.

As for the public garden ("Jardin Public"), it has been converted into 2 parking lots: Republique (open air) and Carmes (underground) car parks.
