Did You Know Hazel Trees Were Growing Near Bergerac?

The Dordogne is famous for its walnuts but I did not know until recently that we were growing hazelnuts here too!
Following yesterday's article (https://goo.gl/JB3gMQ), here's a pic of the hazel trees orchard we came accross while walking near Razac d'Eymet.

In 1979, hazelnut producers came together to create the UNICOQUE co-op.
KOKI is UNICOQUE own brand.
Today, internationally recognised, this co-op handles 98% of the french production.
