An Artist's Childhood: The Book of Emma Reyes

Emma Reyes was a talented colombian painter (yesterday's article: http://bit.ly/2DhL64V) but she was also an exceptional storyteller.
You can read about her childhood in Bogota in a series of twenty-three letters she wrote to Colombian historian and critic Germán Arciniegas where she describes the poverty and trauma of her early life.
