Are you suffering from the winter blues also called the Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) ?
Here’s 3 tips for boosting your energy, mood, and outlook on life!
It’s no secret, walking is good to lift the mood!
In Dordogne, you’ll find lots of easy family friendly walks.
The latest walk we did was in Mescoules, a 4,4km trail (“Boucle De Grand Champ) using the free app randogps.
This hike has everything you want: easy enough for the whole family, lots of open spaces with woods, vineyards, family lands… and if you’re lucky like us, you’ll spot 7 deers running accross the fields!

2- Fitness & Fun:
What about exercise that isn’t exercise? If like me you’re not a big fan of fitness…. at all….pop in Pombonne Park in Bergerac and try the brand new fitness trail which features 8 fitness stations (270m long)!
Available for free use all year round … it’s a great way to stay in good shape, try new exercises without having to go to a gym or enjoy fitness challenges between families and friends.

3- Treating Yourself To A Warm Healthy Hot Drink:
What better way to enjoy winter than cozying up with a nice, hot cup of something delicious and healthy?
A trip to our favorite coffee shop in Monpazier, Café Ecureuil, is garanteed to bring a spring in your step!
They are now launching 3 new hot drinks to keep you warm and healthy: j matcha latte (green: detoxifies and calms the mind) beetroot latte (pink: improves blood flow and lower blood pressure) and tumeric latte (yellow: fights inflammation and protects the heart)!
Open every day except on friday
Address: Place des Cornieres, Monpazier
4- Plan Your Summer Vacation In Dordogne:
What better way to fight the winter blues than to plan and look forward your next family/friends getaway in Dordogne.
